The WeDO Scottish Business Awards rank in the most highly respected Awards for the entrepreneurial and business communities in Scotland.  

The application process is comprehensive and all finalists are interviewed by our Judging Panels.  The Awards are open to both members & non-members of WeDO Scotland.  The Awards categories are as follows:

Rising Star

(Entrepreneur with a business which demonstrates real potential and is on track to become a trailblazer of the future. No age nor trading time limits.)

New Start Business of the Year

(Business which has been trading for 3 years or less)

Scottish Product of the Year

(Scottish manufactured product.)

High Growth Company of the Year

(A company which can demonstrate exceptional levels of growth in terms of sales, turnover and profit. No age nor trading time limits.)

Young Entrepreneur of the Year – sponsored by OEM Group Scotland

(35 years and under – no trading time limits)

International Entrepreneur of the Year

(Has built a global business & is exporting products or services – no age nor trading time limits)

Intrapreneur of the Year

(Business leader who has demonstrated entrepreneurial flair & talent within their organisation – no age limits)

Entrepreneur of the Year – sponsored by Claymore Global Solutions

(No age not trading time limits)

The Awards process entails 3 stages:

STAGE 1

Complete the application form and return it to us by the deadline of 5pm on Friday 29th March.

STAGE 2

Complete the stage 2 application form and return it to us by the deadline of Friday 26th April.  Applicants are also required to submit a 3 minute video introducing themselves and their business to support their application.

STAGE 3

2 finalists for each Award are shortlisted by the Judges and are required to attend a panel interview lasting 30 minutes.  Finalists will also be filmed introducing themselves and their businesses;  these films are played at the Awards Ceremony.
