DigitalBoost has been shortlisted for the Digital Leaders 100 Award - and needs public votes to help win its category.
The programme, delivered by Business Gateway in partnership with Scottish Enterprise and Highlands & Islands Enterprise on behalf of Digital Scotland, joins nine others finalists in the Digital Public Service Innovation of the Year category.
Launched in 2015 to help transform the digital skillset of Scotland’s business community, the programme of support and advice has helped thousands of Scottish SMEs become more innovative in their thinking and competitive in an increasingly connected world.
By accessing workshops held throughout the country, 1:1 support from digital expert advisers, and taking the online Digital Health Check, businesses have been able to enter new markets, trade internationally, increase business efficiencies, and enhance their digital skills – all for free.
Gavin Bain, Celtic3d, said: “DigitalBoost helped me identify new markets and widen my customer base.”
Peter Ellington, Ellington Kitchens, said: “The support I received armed me with the tools I needed to build and maintain my website.”
Anita Peggie, Rustic Simplicity, said: “DigitalBoost gave us the skills needed to set up an e-commerce site that has helped us secure more orders from existing customers and attract new stockists.”
The Digital Leaders 100 is a Digital Leader’s programme which recognises individuals and organisations who demonstrate a pioneering and sustainable approach to digital transformation across the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
The finalists who make up this year’s DL100 list are people and organisations across the UK who are leading the way in digital transformation. The 100 finalists now compete for the public vote to win their category.
All public votes cast will be combined with the judge’s scores to determine the winners of each of the 10 categories and provide those shortlisted with an exact placing in the top 100.
It’s simple. Visit www.digileaders100.com/vote/digital-public-service-innovation-of-the-year/ and select DigitalBoost before June 9th.
