Glasgow Kelvin College opens new facility with state-of-the-art Fujitsu technology

Glasgow Kelvin College welcomed Martyn Ives, Fujitsu General Air Conditioning Technical Manager to the opening of the Fujitsu training facility at the Springburn campus.  The College features the state-of-the-art Fujitsu technology in its fully equipped Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training workshop.  With a range of multi-units and VRF Unit, the practical experience for SVQ students will be unrivalled in Scotland.

As many of the College’s students are apprentices with some of the principal installers in Scotland, the benefits to Scottish business will be exceptional, ensuring that their employees have up-to-the-minute industry standard skillsets.

This partnership with Fujitsu will ensure that the shared facility becomes a key provider of high-end technical skills and places the College firmly at the forefront of delivering training on cutting-edge equipment.  With the introduction of cleaner, climate-friendly technologies in the near future, Glasgow Kelvin is looking forward to working closely with Fujitsu on any new developments.
