Discoveries is a free four week, lean startup acceleration program organised by Fábrica de Startups.

It is organised in partnership with Turismo de Portugal and sponsored by NOS, amongst others.

In September, Discoveries will empower startups to solve the problems facing the tourism industry. 

The program targets top startups from around the world in the idea, prototype, or launch stages to come to Lisbon to test and validate their business models through a systematised and proven methodology. Without compromising their equity, participants will gain access to world-class mentors, investors, and program graduates to help them complete extensive customer validation activities. They will leave with a tested business model they can confidently launch into the market and pitch to potential investors.

Fábrica de Startups promotes entrepreneurship in Portugal by organising initiatives to help develop and launch startups, particularly in the early stage. Its activity is mainly in 3 areas: acceleration, incubation, and learning. In short, their mission is to help people become successful entrepreneurs.
