The lanes network in the city centre is flourishing in some areas, but could undoubtedly be improved in others.  

This draft lane strategy is part of the Council’s wider city centre strategy which seeks to improve the overall experience of the city centre for people, as well as encouraging footfall and economic development. Developed in consultation with stakeholders including businesses, community groups, and waste contractors.
